She's trimmed over eighty pounds off her body, and now Jennifer Hudson is ready to help others with their effort to slim down by opening a new weight loss center in Chicago.
Returning to her hometown for the grand opening, the "American Idol" alum stood alongside mayor Rahm Emanuel as the Jennifer Hudson Weight Watchers Center was opened in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood earlier this afternoon (September 27).
Having once admitted to the press that she's "prouder" of her weight loss than her Oscar, Miss Hudson hopes the new venture will encourage others to share in her healthy lifestyle.
Additionally, some of the proceeds from the center will go to support a foundation in honor of Hudson's late nephew, Julian King, who was murdered along with his mother and brother back in October 2008.
