They have always been extremely generous with their fortune, and it was recently announced that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donated $500,000 to the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
The ?Mr and Mrs Smith? co-stars? contribution supports mid-term and long-term rebuilding efforts in the Joplin, MO area, which was recently devastated by a number of tornadoes and a familiar place to Pitt.
"With the devastating loss of thirty percent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead," Brad told local news station KSPR. "Having spent much of my childhood there, I know these people to be hardworking, humble and especially resilient."
Jolie added, ?Our hearts go out to the families in Joplin who have lost so much.?
