While Black Swan's dancing double Sarah Lane has insinuated that she should be getting all the praise for the film -- and not Natalie Portman --- the Oscar winner is trying very hard to not give too much attention to all of the hoopla.
When asked about the controversy surrounding Lane's comments that she did "basically all of the dancing" in the ballet film, Portman tried to be as politically correct as possible about it.
"I know what went on," the star, 29, told E! News while promoting her new flick Your Highness. "We had an amazing experience making the movie. I don't want to tarnish it by entering it into nastiness."
Both of Portman's costars, Benjamin Millepied (who just also happens to be her fiance and the daddy to the baby in her belly) and Mila Kunis, defended her, with Kunis saying that the actress "danced her ass off."
"I'm really proud of everyone's work on the movie, my experience," the pregnant Portman cheerily told the press. "I will have that forever. And it's nice for me to know about that no matter what kind of nastiness or gossip is going around."
Putting the controversy behind her, the mom-to-be is focusing on her pregnancy and he new role she's about to take on.
"I have to admit, it's really fun being able to take it easy and not worry about food," she said. "At the same time you have to be healthy because there is a person inside me. I do love ice cream and desserts though!"
